Stephen Richards Flies in from Havana!

Disco Daze head honcho Stephen Richards make a welcome debut on Bandolier with his “Disco Habana EP”, featuring a spanking new remix from Chewy Rubs.

1. ‘Disco Habana’ is all about transporting yourself to a white sandy beach, shades on, cocktail in hand and bumping away to this South American latino disco platter full of plucky acoustics, ass wiggling bass with an infectious rhythm and an uplifting horn section. All guaranteed to put the sunshine in your life, especially on a cold winter day!!

2. ‘Nuances’ features a neatly sourced vocal sample “Starting to feel like i belong somewhere…It feels right” that sits comfortably on this Jazz Funk fuelled groover full of goodness, oozing with warm boogie bass, Disco Funk guitar and a clever use of a retro keys, orchestral hooks and brass stabs.

3. ‘Nuances’ (Chewy Rubs Breakers Dozen Dub) sees the furry beat fiend gets his paws into Nuance as he ups the pace to add his trademark energy with a looped-out drum and break journey that enhances the best bits from the original and delivers a boogie funker from the future!!
